Since the first time I met you, I thought you were really cool. It was nice being able to connect with someone from a similar area who has a similar taste in music. Even though your background might be a little different, I’ve really enjoyed talking about it and learning more about you. I appreciate the friendship we’ve built. The moments I get to talk to you—whether I’m calling or texting—always make me happy. I find myself thinking about the times we’ve spent together. When I saw you in Florida, I was just happy to be able to talk to you.

Over the past couple of months, I’ve gotten to see how you interact with your friends and the people around you. I really admire how you value community, being around others, and living in the moment. In Cleveland, you made time out of your schedule to see us (and honestly, I really just wanted to see you). I also love how spontaneous and goal-oriented you are. With that being said, I’d like to take you on a date because I’m interested in being more than friends.
